With national power consumption projected to rise steadily for the next decade, PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI) and local lubricants manufacturer Glide Technology Sdn Bhd (GLIDE) have inked a collaboration agreement. The lubricant providers will partner on the distribution of premium insulating oils under the name PETRONAS Tranol Glide.
Insulating oils are crucial in the operation of transformers, which form the core of power substations. The PETRONAS Tranol Glide Uninhibited and Inhibited insulating oils are tailored to meet international standards while withstanding demanding operational conditions.

The PETRONAS Tranol Glide range is designed to maintain and enhance power systems performance, which is critical to future industrial growth.”
GLIDE, a homegrown lubricants manufacturer with facilities located in Shah Alam, Selangor is a supplier to utility companies and transformer manufacturers. In this partnership with PLI, GLIDE will be manufacturing PETRONAS Tranol Glide at their facilities for distribution in the country.
